EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University won two of three doubles matches, but Bryn Mawr won four of the five singles matches that were completed for a 5-3 win in non-conference women's tennis on Wednesday.
 
Juniors Amber Jadus and Kayla Loar won 9-7 over Melina Koukoutchos and Kendall Baller at No. 1 doubles and freshmen Morgan Buchter and Lauren Morrissey won 8-6 over Marian Haider and Molloy McDougall at No. 3 doubles for the Warriors (0-2).
 
Maire Clayton and Lizzie Siegle had an 8-1 win over sophomores Elizabeth Bartoli and Devin Presby at No. 2 doubles for Bryn Mawr (1-0), which had its first win over a Division II program since beating USciences in 2013.
 
In singles, Bartoli posted ESU's only win, 10-8 vs. Baller, at the No. 2 spot.
 
Koukoutchos won 10-6 vs. Jadus at No. 1 singles, Siegle had a 10-0 win over Presby at No. 3, Clayton won 10-2 vs. Buchter at No. 4 and Eram Haider won 8-0 vs. Loar at No. 5. The sixth singles spot was not completed due to darkness. Bryn Mawr, 1-16 last season, played its first match of the 2015-16 season.
 
ESU will participate in the Bloomsburg Open this weekend.
