Sophomore outside hitter
Desiree Claxton had 18 kills and 14 digs against California as ESU won the second and fourth sets in a 14-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 8-15 setback.
Freshman outside hitter
Madison McCunney had 12 kills and sophomore middle blocker
Erin Gloor added nine kills for the Warriors (5-7, 0-2).
Senior libero
Maddie Hutchison had 29 digs and sophomore outside hitter
Rosa Veliky had 10.
Freshman setter/outside hitter
Tina Predojevic had six kills, six digs and 23 assists and sophomore Eric Cunningham had16 assists.
Against IUP, Claxton and McCunney had seven kills each as the Warriors fell 25-22, 25-15, 25-14.
Hutchison had 13 digs, Predojevic had two kills, nine digs and eight assists and Cunningham had nine assists.
Hutchison entered the week as the PSAC leader and seventh in DII with 6.23 digs per set. She moved into second in school history in career digs last week.
The Warriors are at Seton Hill Saturday, facing the host Griffins at 10 a.m. and Clarion at 3:30 p.m.
Three of ESU's four opponents this weekend (California, Seton Hill, Clarion) were selected for the NCAA Division II Tournament last fall.
