The Warriors held a 25-7 advantage in shots, 12-3 in the first half and 13-4 in the second half.
Krista Mosi had 13 saves for Clarion.
The Warriors travel to California on Friday and IUP on Saturday for a PSAC road trip next weekend. ESU posted wins over Cal, 3-2 in the PSAC semifinals, and IUP, 5-0 in the quarterfinals, on its way to the PSAC championship last November.
Seven of ESU's final nine opponents of the regular season qualified for the PSAC Tournament last fall.
