Against Clarion, Claxton had seven kills and nine digs and sophomore middle blocker
Erin Gloor added seven kills. Cunningham added 14 assists.
Seton Hill won by scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-14 and Clarion won by scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.
The Warriors pushed defending PSAC champion California to five sets on Friday in their first match of the four-contest crossover weekend. Three of ESU's opponents this weekend (California, Seton Hill, Clarion) advanced to the NCAA Tournament last fall.
ESU hosts West Chester in its PSAC home opener on Friday at 7 p.m.
