Tori Bowser had 14 kills, Else Buchmiller had 11 kills and 16 digs and Xhesi Domi had 24 digs to lead Queens.
Last fall, Claxton had 299 kills and 257 digs as a freshman, becoming the first ESU player with 250 kills and 250 digs in a season since 2004.
Hutchison, fourth in school history with 1,475 career digs, had her 28th career match with at least 20 digs.
Set scores were 21-25, 26-24, 23-25 and 21-25.
The Warriors face Saint Rose and Dowling on Saturday at Dowling College.
