EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore guard
Imani Brown had 17 points and 11 rebounds, including a key three-point play in the final minute, as East Stroudsburg University upended Bloomsburg, 71-66, in PSAC East women's basketball on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.
ESU (10-9, 8-7) ended a 14-game losing streak vs. Bloomsburg (12-7, 9-6), outscoring the Huskies 9-2 in the final minute.
Brown had her first career double-double and added seven of ESU's 13 steals. Sophomore forward
Rebecca Rutkowski had 16 points, eight rebounds and three blocks and junior forward
Allison Howard added 13 points and 11 rebounds, posting her sixth double-double of the season and the 11th of her career.
Mia Hopkins had 21 points and 11 rebounds but also had 10 turnovers for Bloomsburg.
