ESU head coach
Diane Decker, in her first season at ESU (formerly an ESU assistant and the interim head coach in 2007-08), was an assistant at Bloomsburg for the last seven seasons - including 13 straight wins over the Warriors from 2009-10 through last winter.
Howard notched her second straight double-double, her sixth of the season and 11th of her career, while Brown had the first double-double of her career for ESU. They are the fourth set of ESU teammates with a double-double in the same game in the last 14 years, and Brown is just the fifth Warrior with a double-double off the bench in that stretch.
ESU travels to Shippensburg (15-4, 11-4) on Monday night in a game rescheduled from last Saturday's winter weather event. Ship had won 10 straight entering this week but fell 88-62 at Bloomsburg on Wednesday and 71-57 at West Chester Saturday. Ship won a 76-56 verdict vs. the Warriors on November 18 at Koehler Fieldhouse, but ESU has won nine of its last 11 after a 1-7 start.
