EAST STROUDSBURG - Juniors Joey Kratochvil (157) and Tyler Richardson (184) both posted a pair of wins as East Stroudsburg University split a pair of Super Region 1 duals on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse, winning 20-13 vs. West Liberty and falling 28-12 vs. LIU Post.

Kratochvil won a pair of one-point decisions, 5-4 vs. West Liberty and 4-3 vs. LIU Post. Richardson won by first-period fall vs. West Liberty and used a takedown with three seconds left for a 3-1 decision vs. the Pioneers.

Redshirt freshman Dylan Nace improved to 11-2 on the season with his ninth bonus point win at 141 pounds, posting a 20-1 technical fall vs. West Liberty to get the Warriors on the board.

ESU won five of six bouts between 141 and 184. Redshirt freshman Blake Cohen followed with an 8-7 decision at 149, rallying from a 7-3 deficit after the first period and riding out WLU's Cole Nace for the decisive point in the third period.

Kratochvil won at 157, redshirt junior Joe Welk won an 8-7 decision at 174 and Richardson pinned Daniel Carpenter at 2:29 of the first period at 184.

Richardson, ranked No. 4 in the region at 184 pounds, saw his first career action at that weight class, moving down from 197 where he was a national qualifier as a sophomore.

Against LIU Post, redshirt freshman Collyn Dorney won a 12-7 decision at 125 pounds with Kratochvil, Richardson and redshirt freshman Justin Walker (197 - 6-4) also winning by decision.

West Liberty upended LIU Post, 24-19, in the first dual of the day.

LIU Post is ranked No. 7 in the region, ESU No. 9 and West Liberty No. 12 in the most recent analysis by the region's coaches.
