EAST STROUDSBURG – Courtney Wensel had 16 kills and 12 digs, and Corinne Justus added 11 kills with a .471 attack percentage to help Philadelphia University complete a 3-0 sweep over East Stroudsburg University at Koehler Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. Set scores were 25-15, 25-15, 25-20.

The Rams (17-4) won their fifth-straight match, earning 3-0 margins in four of those contests. Philadelphia hit .276 in the match compared to .059 for the Warriors.
ESU fell behind early in each of the first two sets and was unable to recover. The home side's best effort came in the third, with the Warriors jumping out to a 5-0 lead on the serve of junior
Rosa Veliky. Claxton registered three of her 11 kills during that stretch.
ESU maintained a 12-8 advantage after a service ace from Predojevic, but the Rams then slowly started to chip away, winning seven of nine points to grab their first lead at 15-14. Philadelphia extended its margin to as many as six points in the later stages of the set.
The Rams had a 41-21 edge in kills and a 10-3 advantage in aces, led by four from Mariah Cadzow.
This was the final non-conference matchup of the regular season for the Warriors. ESU returns to PSAC competition this weekend, hosting Cheyney at 7 p.m. on Friday and West Chester at 1 p.m. on Saturday in a pair of PSAC Southeast Division tilts.
