EAST STROUDSBURG - Alex Brown scored 3:57 into the second overtime, giving Edinboro a 1-0 (2OT) win over No. 13-ranked East Stroudsburg University in PSAC women's soccer on Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Junior goalkeeper Jules Harris made seven saves for ESU (11-4-1, 11-3-1), while Sarah Baskey had six saves for Edinboro (12-2-1, 11-2-1) in a match-up of two of the top six teams in last week's initial NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings.

ESU was listed No. 4 last week with Edinboro No. 6. The Warriors fell 2-0 at Bloomsburg on Wednesday.

Edinboro had a 16-11 advantage in shots, including 3-0 in overtime. The Warriors outshot Edinboro 9-6 in the second half, forcing Baskey to make five saves, after the Fighting Scots had a 7-2 edge in the first half.

ESU won both postseason meetings with Edinboro last season, 2-1 (OT) in the PSAC championship game and 2-0 in the Atlantic Regional championship game.

The Warriors recognized nine seniors prior to the game who have helped the program to a 53-19-6 record in the last four years, including the 2014 and 2015 PSAC championships and last year's Atlantic Region title, the first in school history.

Senior midfielder Shea Neal and senior back Laurel Neira, both All-America selections as sophomores on the 2014 team that went 20-1-1, started and were immediately substituted due to illness/injury.

Also honored were back Liia Carpenter, back Hannah Gombos, forward Brielyn Hackett, back Kelly Howiszak, back Andrea Polanco, goalkeeper Brooke Powers and midfielder Alyssa Simeone.

ESU travels to Bloomfield (N.J.) for a non-conference game on Monday night before a trip to Gannon for their final PSAC game of the regular season on Saturday at 5 p.m.

The Warriors have qualified for the PSAC Tournament and are likely to host a quarterfinal game on Tuesday, November 1, although they have not yet secured a top-four seed.
