EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Tyson Searer remains ranked No. 2 at 285 pounds, with redshirt freshman Dylan Nace (141) and junior Tyler Richardson (184) both No. 4 in their weight classes, in the most recent NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association rankings for Super Region 1, released Wednesday.

Searer is ranked No. 7 nationally in the most recent poll (January 28) with the new poll slated for release later this week. He moved to No. 2 in the region on January 27.

Searer is 13-6 on the season, going 3-0 since the previous set of rankings. He has an 8-1 record vs. DII competition, including a fall vs. No. 3 Andy Welton (Mercyhurst) on January 22. Searer's only DII setback is a 6-1 loss to top-ranked D.J. Sims (Pitt-Johnstown) on November 24. He has won eight straight matches vs. all competition since December 12.

Searer, a 2013 NCAA DII qualifier at 197 pounds as a freshman, has a career record of 72-36 and a dual mark of 44-9.

Nace is 17-2 overall (10-1 vs. DII) with a 3-0 record in the last two weeks, extending his unbeaten streak to 10 straight matches. His lone DII loss is a 9-0 verdict vs. Sam Hanau (UPJ), ranked No. 2 in the region, at the PSAC Championships on December 5.

Nace has posted 12 of his 17 wins by bonus points with eight falls, one technical fall, three major decisions, three decisions and two forfeits.

He has an 11-0 dual record entering the final two duals of the season, Saturday vs. American International and next Saturday vs. Kutztown.

Richardson is 13-5 overall and 6-4 vs. DII competition. He opened the season at 197 pounds before reclassifying to 184, going 5-2 since the beginning of January. He was a national qualifier and regional runner-up last year at 197.
