EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Ashleigh Podhayny set a school record in the 100 individual medley to lead East Stroudsburg University at its annual ESU Invitational on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
 
Podhayny swam 1:00.54 to break the school record of 1:02.03 set by Sami Vavra in 2011. The time is also a Koehler Fieldhouse record.

She set her fifth career individual record at ESU after setting four records as a junior in her first season with the Warriors. She also holds school records in the 200 IM (2:08.38), 400 IM (4:35.18), 100 back (58.68) and 200 back (2:06.52).

Podhayny swam a PSAC qualifying time in the 50 free (25.79) as well and is a qualifier in seven events this year. She entered the week ranked fourth in the PSAC in the 400 IM (4:37.35) and sixth in the 400 IM (2:09.56) and 200 back (2:08.26).

Ten Warriors have combined for 34 PSAC qualifying times entering the PSAC Championships, which will be contested February 18-21 at the York YMCA.

Senior Sophie Coy swam a PSAC qualifying time in the 400 IM (4:59.32) and is qualified in four events.

Other PSAC qualifiers are senior Cyndi Kline (3 events), senior Alexandra Woytko (3), junior Kelly Buyaskas (3), junior Kaitlyn Casciole (1), sophomore Allison Cardow (4), sophomore Annie Fagan (3), sophomore Shirley Samson (2) and sophomore Kate Zimmerman (4).
