BLOOMSBURG - Junior attack Lauren Green scored four goals, senior attack Lauren Nunes had four assists and redshirt junior goalkeeper Jessica Maxwell made 16 saves, leading East Stroudsburg University to a 9-7 win at Bloomsburg in PSAC lacrosse on Tuesday afternoon.

ESU (5-1, 1-1) posted its first win at Bloomsburg since 2001, falling in its previous 10 trips, and had been 2-20 in the last 22 meetings vs. the Huskies. The Warriors knocked off a nationally-ranked Bloomsburg team last year, 14-13, for their first win vs. Bloomsburg at either site since 2008.

ESU scored the final six goals of the game after trailing 7-3 with 19:21 left, and answering a six-goal run by Bloomsburg (2-2, 0-1).

Senior attack Kaitlynn Wiltraut had two goals and one assist, redshirt junior midfielder Jamie Zimmer had a goal and an assist and senior midfielder Annastasia Porpora and sophomore midfielder Chessie Rahmer also scored for the Warriors, who rebounded from a 12-11 loss at Millersville in their PSAC opener on Saturday.

Kate Shea had three goals and an assist to pace Bloomsburg.

After Shea opened the scoring, ESU scored three goals in a seven-minute stretch - a free position goal by Porpora and two goals by Green - to lead 3-1 at the 18:52 mark of the first half.

Bloomsburg scored four straight, the final two by Shea in the last 2:13 of the first half, to lead 5-3 at intermission.

Nikki Fisher and Brigid Kyne scored on free position shots in the second half to put the Huskies in front by four before the Warriors rallied.

ESU scored four goals in four minutes to tie the game at 7-all with 12:31 left, getting two goals from Wiltraut and a goal each by Zimmer and Rahmer, both assisted by Nunes.

Green scored the go-ahead goal, assisted by Nunes, with 8:54 left and teamed up with Zimmer for an insurance goal with 5:23 remaining.

Bloomsburg held a 26-22 advantage in shots, but Maxwell held the Huskies to 4-for-14 on free position attempts.  Maxwell was second team All-PSAC as a redshirt freshman in 2014 before missing all but five games last season due to injury.

Green pushed her team-leading goal total to 16, while Nunes has a team-best 30 points on 11 goals and 19 assists.
