Lauren Nunes had five goals and four assists to tie a career-high with nine points, leading East Stroudsburg University to an 18-10 win vs. Slippery Rock in PSAC lacrosse on Saturday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

ESU led 11-5 at halftime, closing on a 10-2 run after falling behind 3-1 early, and maintained at least a five goal lead throughout the second half.
Nunes had her second career game with nine points and hit several career milestones. She moved into 10th at ESU in career goals (119), fifth in career points (195) and closed within two assists of the school record. Nunes has 76 career assists, trailing only Antonia Giannopoulos, who had 78 from 2001-03.
Nunes scored four goals in a 6-0 run over a seven-minute stretch late in the first half as the Warriors broke the game open.

Jessica Maxwell had 12 saves for ESU as the Warriors were outshot 27-25 and committed two more turnovers than SRU.
Eighteen of ESU's 25 shots found the net, with two SRU goalkeepers combining to make just four saves.
ESU had a 16-14 edge in draw controls, including five each by Rahmer and senior defender
Caitlyn O'Connell.
The Warriors host Wilmington in a non-conference game on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
