Brianna Andraos threw a four-hitter in game one and Cassidy Pinchorski went the distance with 12 strikeouts in game two for Millersville (15-9, 2-0).

ESU senior catcher Haley Thomas, the PSAC leader in batting (.548), on-base percentage (.556) and slugging percentage (.929) entering the weekend, was 3-for-6 with a walk to lead the Warriors offensively.

Seniors Amanda Carlin (2.0 IP, 2 runs) and Allison Mende (7.0 IP, 1 run) handled the work in the circle for ESU in game two.

GAME 1 - L 2-0

Both teams left six runners on base through the first three innings, but Millersville scored two unearned runs on two hits and an error in the fourth for the game's only runs.

All four of ESU's hits were in the first three innings as Andraos improved to 7-6 on the season for the Marauders.

GAME 2 - L 3-2 (9 inn.)

Millersville opened a 2-0 lead in the third inning, but the Warriors climbed back to force extra innings and nearly won it in the eighth.

Senior 1B Danielle Dungee hit a one-out homer, her third of the year, to get the Warriors on the board in the fourth, and ESU tied it at 2-2 in the sixth. Junior Rae Holden hit a leadoff single and pinch-runner Kendra Barlotta stole second and scored on an RBI single by Thomas.

Mende threw a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the seventh and ESU got a leadoff single by freshman 3B Samantha Pickar in the bottom, but Pinchorski got out of the inning.

In the eighth, Mende retired the side and the Warriors put their first three hitters on base on singles by Dungee and Thomas and a Millersville error, but Pinchorski got a popup, a forceout at the plate and a ground ball to send the game to the ninth.

Heather Lutz hit a leadoff double, advanced on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a two-out RBI single by Kelsey Campbell for the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, and Pinchorski retired ESU in order in the bottom.
