ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Sophomore Samantha Miller finished tied for 17th to lead East Stroudsburg University at the Eastern Spring Invitational at St. Davids Golf Club on Tuesday.

ESU placed 10th of 12 schools that sent at least four golfers, and Miller (95) finished in the top third of a field that included 69 individuals.

Senior Bridget Simons was tied for 32nd (101), sophomore Mackenzie Mathna was tied for 51st (109) and freshman Caterina Daniels was 60th (118).

Kutztown won the team title by 21 shots over Millersville (345-366), with West Chester finishing third (382) and host Eastern fourth (396).

Megan Kimmel (Lebanon Valley) carded 81 to earn medalist honors by three strokes over Madison Beer (Kutztown) and Emily Unrue (Muhlenberg).

The par-70 course played at 5,809 yards.

ESU's next action is Saturday, April 9 at the Kutztown Spring Invitational.
