Samantha Miller placed tied for 15th in a field of 58 to lead East Stroudsburg University at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester, on Sunday and Monday at Whitford Country Club.
Miller put together rounds of 85 and 89 for a two-day total of 174. Sophomore
Mackenzie Mathna was tied for 50th (194), senior
Bridget Simons was 55th (204) and freshman
Caterina Daniels was 57th (208).
Kutztown won the team title by two strokes vs. Merrimack (683-685) with Notre Dame (Ohio) placing third. ESU finished 11th in a field of 11 teams.
Diana Munoz (Gannon) was the medalist at 158, edging Hope Giordano (Kutztown) by two strokes and Krystal Knight (Merrimack) by three.
The par-72 course played at 5,803 yards.
ESU will compete in the Alvernia Invitational at Ledgerock Golf Club on Wednesday.
