EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior Steven Morgan (110m hurdles) and sophomore Kaylyn West (3000m steeplechase) ran NCAA Division II provisional qualifying times, and junior Allison Decker (10,000m) and senior William Berry (high jump) improved their NCAA provisional efforts, as East Stroudsburg University track and field athletes competed at Bucknell and Moravian on Saturday.

Graduate student Travis Toth (hammer) competed on Sunday, matching his season best of 198-9 which ranks ninth on the DII national list. Toth previously threw 198-9 at Lafayette on March 26, and has a mark of at least 193 feet in all four competitions this spring.

Morgan ran 14.35 in the 110m hurdles, just off his school record of 14.32 which won the PSAC championship last spring. He hit the NCAA provisional standard in the hurdles for the fifth time in his six seasons of competition.

West clocked 11:04.82 in the steeplechase, an eight-second PR from her season-opening time at Charlotte, to hit an NCAA provisional for the first time on the track. She improved her ESU #2 time all-time.

Decker ran 36:18.18 in the 10,000m on Saturday night, improving her NCAA provisional qualifying time of 36:52.95 that she ran at Washington & Lee on March 18. Her 36:18.18 is fourth-fastest in school history.

Berry pushed his NCAA provisional mark in the high jump to 6-9 3/4 after clearing 6-8 1/4 three weeks ago at Lafayette.

Morgan competed at Moravian, while West, Decker, Berry and Toth led the Warriors' entrants at Bucknell.

Other top performances at Bucknell were turned in by sophomore Samantha Young in the 1500m (4:45.15), improving her PSAC qualifying time and ranking 10th in school history, and senior Chelsea Conover in the 5000m (17:43.20), a new PSAC qualifier and the 8th-fastest in school history.

On the men's side, junior Alec Lederer ran 9:29.13 in the 3000m steeplechase, improving his PSAC qualifier and edging his previous PR (9:29.66) which ranks eighth at ESU. Freshman Tyler Hope improved his PSAC qualifier in the javelin (189-9).

In all, ESU athletes turned in 11 new and 12 improved PSAC qualifying marks - seven new and three improved for the women, and four new and nine improved for the men.

At Moravian, freshman Marissa Flim improved her PSAC time in the 100m (12.62) with new PSAC marks etched by senior Tirzah Johnson in the 100m (12.79), Flim in the 200m (26.30), junior Lauren Toth in the 800m (2:19.71), sophomore Jaid Harsch in the 100m hurdles (15.58), senior Michelle Zazzero in the 3000m steeplechase (12:18.13) and senior Samantha Mason in the long jump (17-6 3/4 - ESU #10 mark).

Morgan's 14.35 in the 110m hurdles led ESU's men at Moravian, along with senior Adam Robertino (14.99), sophomore Christian Castro (15.06) and freshman Akeim Thomas (15.58).

Morgan also ran 21.98 in the 200m, a new PSAC qualifier and #t-9 in school history. Freshman Quincy Palmer also had a PSAC time in the 200 (22.55), with sophomore Ernest Pendleton clocking a PSAC time in the 100m (11.19).

Senior Derrick Washington, last year's PSAC champion, improved his PSAC time in the 400m (48.52). Freshman Khai Samuels improved his PSAC qualifier in the 800m (1:54.30), ranking #9 at ESU.

Junior Sean Hagerty extended his PSAC mark in the long jump to 22-4 1/4.
