Lauren Nunes had a goal and four assists, setting East Stroudsburg University's record for career points, as the Warriors improved to 10-2 (5-2 PSAC) with a 17-4 win over Edinboro in PSAC lacrosse on Saturday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

ESU secured its fifth season with 10+ wins in program history. The Warriors are one win from tying the school record of 11 victories achieved three times - 2000 (11-5), 2008 (11-7) and 2010 (11-7).

Nunes finished the afternoon with 229 career points, surpassing the previous record of 228 set by Kristin Restivo (1997-00). She has 132 career goals, eighth in school history, and extended her school record for assists (97).
Nunes has 73 points on 29 goals and 44 assists (single-season record) through 12 games this spring. She entered the week ranked first in the PSAC in points per game (6.40) and second in assists per game (3.70), ranking in the top five in NCAA Division II in both categories.
Wiltraut moved into ESU's career top 10 in goals (125) with her fifth hat trick of the season and the 21st of her career.
ESU had a pair of four-goal runs in the first half and led 8-3 at halftime, before putting the game away with the first four goals of the second half.
Four players scored one goal each for Edinboro (5-6, 1-6).
The Warriors held a 13-9 advantage in draw controls and 31-26 edge in shots. Senior defender
Caitlyn O'Connell had a team-high seven draw controls.
ESU recognized 12 seniors prior to the game. The Warriors have five games remaining in the regular season, including two at home, but played their final Saturday home game.
ESU played three home games this week, upending No. 6-ranked Lock Haven, 8-7, on Tuesday and falling 12-10 vs. Seton Hill on Friday.
The Warriors are away for both games next week, Wednesday at Shippensburg and Saturday at Mercyhurst.
