EAST STROUDSBURG - Freshman outside hitter
Sarah Smith had 22 kills over two matches, leading East Stroudsburg University to a pair of wins to finish this weekend's women's volleyball tournament on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Smith had nine kills in ESU's 3-0 win (25-23, 25-10, 25-13) vs. previously unbeaten St. Anselm at 12 p.m., and 13 kills in a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-22, 25-17) four hours later to close the weekend with a 3-1 record. The Warriors lost a 3-2 verdict vs. West Liberty and posted a 3-1 win vs. Molloy on Friday.
ESU (6-3) allowed just one more kill than attack errors by its two opponents on Saturday as freshman libero
Abby Moore had 32 digs - 15 vs. St. Anselm and 17 vs. Nyack.

Tina Predojevic (7 kills, 13 assists, 7 digs) and sophomore
Kimberly McCann (14 assists) led the attack against St. Anselm.
Predojevic had 24 assists and seven digs and McCann added 13 assists and eight digs vs. Nyack. Freshman middle blocker
Britney Hewitt had seven kills and six digs, and freshman outside hitter
Sam Dunphy posted six kills.
ESU travels to Merrimack for four matches next weekend, taking on the hosts, Bentley, American International and Nebraska-Kearney, before opening PSAC play the following weekend at Clarion and IUP.
