JOHNSTOWN - Sophomore forward Alex Pickett scored No. 5-ranked East Stroudsburg University's second goal and assisted on the third, and freshman forward Amy Strauser scored the final two goals as the Warriors posted a 5-0 win at Pitt-Johnstown in PSAC women's soccer on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore back Carly Abbott scored her first career goal on a free kick in the ninth minute to open the scoring for ESU (4-0, 4-0).

Pickett scored in the 54th minute, assisted by senior forward Brielyn Hackett, and assisted on a 61st-minute goal by freshman midfielder Danielle Cary, her first for the Warriors.

Strauser, who scored the go-ahead goal in a 2-1 win vs. Shippensburg a week ago, scored in the 78th and 82nd minutes. The first goal was assisted by junior forward Molly Vicari.

ESU outshot UPJ 35-4. Junior goalkeeper Jules Harris played the first 81:43 and didn't make a save in posting her 20th career shutout in 42 starts.

The Warriors host Millersville on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

* ESU improves to 18-3-1 when playing with a Top 10 ranking overall, and 17-1-1 under 10th-year head coach Rob Berkowitz.
* The Warriors are 98-6-7 when scoring the first goal under Berkowitz, and 66-0-4 when leading at halftime.
