EAST STROUDSBURG - Melissa Quintnilla scored the game's only goal 1:50 into the second half, giving LIU Post a 1-0 win vs. No. 1-ranked East Stroudsburg University in non-conference field hockey on Monday afternoon at Whitenight Field.
ESU (3-2) held advantages of 16-3 in shots and 17-7 on penalty corners, but Ericka Parks made four saves for LIU Post (3-0), which has opened with wins vs. Bentley (2-0), No. 3 West Chester (5-2) and ESU.
Quintanilla deflected in a pass from Steph Mocerino for the goal on LIU Post's second shot of the game after ESU held a 5-1 edge in shots in the first half.

ESU hosts West Chester (2-2) on Wednesday in a non-conference game at 4 p.m. The Warriors won all three meetings vs. WCU last year by a combined margin of 13-3, including victories in the PSAC semifinals (3-1) and NCAA Division II semifinals (6-2) on their way to ESU's first-ever PSAC and national championships.
