Abby Moore added 13 digs as East Stroudsburg University posted a 3-0 win vs. Queens (N.Y.) in non-conference women's volleyball on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.
ESU (3-2) hit .184 and had 10 aces and eight blocks to win by set scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-15.
Smith had 10 of her 11 kills in the first two sets and also had six digs. Junior outside hitter
Rosa Veliky (nine digs) and freshman middle blocker
Britney Hewitt (five block assists) both had five kills for the Warriors, and freshman outside hitter
Sam Dunphy had three kills and four block assists.
Queens (2-3) was led by Nicoletta DiCocco (nine kills) and Ragina Anthony (seven kills).
ESU hosts four more matches this weekend at Koehler Fieldhouse, playing two matches Friday (4 p.m. vs. West Liberty, 8 p.m. vs. Molloy) and two on Saturday (12 p.m. vs. St. Anselm, 4 p.m. vs. Nyack), after opening 2-2 at home last weekend.
