BLOOMSBURG - No. 8-ranked Bloomsburg scored three goals in the final 16 minutes to upend No. 1 East Stroudsburg University, 3-0, in non-conference field hockey on Tuesday afternoon.

ESU (2-1), which opened the season with wins at No. 4 Merrimack (4-2) and No. 5 Stonehill (2-1) last weekend, had a nine-game winning streak end dating to last season, which included the Warriors' first-ever PSAC and NCAA Division II championships.
Stephanie Halsted gave Bloomsburg (2-1) a 1-0 lead with 15:42 remaining, then Ali McKay scored with 7:08 on the clock and Erica Krebs set the final margin with 27 seconds left.

Lindsay Cassel made six saves for Bloomsburg, which held advantages of 16-7 in shots and 9-8 in penalty corners.

The Warriors' nine-game winning streak is tied for the third-longest in program history. ESU was 19-3 last season to set a school record for wins, including a nine-game streak in the middle of the season and a seven-game run (featuring four postseason games) to finish the championship year.
ESU returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. in its home opener vs. Mercyhurst.
