LEWISBURG - Senior
Steve Morgan tied his season-best and junior
Christian Castro ran an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the 60m hurdles, leading East Stroudsburg University's entrants at the Gulden Invitational at Bucknell on Saturday.
Morgan ran 8.18 to win the final, matching the time he ran at Lehigh six weeks ago, and Castro ran 8.24 to finish third and hit his first career NCAA provisional qualifying standard and moved into fifth on ESU's all-time 60m hurdles list.
Morgan also had the prelim's top time in 8.22, with Castro running 8.39. Sophomore
Akeim Thomas also clocked a PSAC qualifying time (8.51) in the prelims before placing seventh (8.63) in the final.
The Warriors recorded 17 new and five improved PSAC qualifying efforts - six new and one improved for the women, and 11 new and four improved for the men.
On the women's side, new PSAC marks were turned in by juniors
Kaylyn West (5:11.53) and Samatha Young (5:17.17) in the mile, freshman
Tiana Webster in the 200m (26.68), senior
Lauren Toth in the 800m (2:23.88), senior Kelley Anne Steutz in the 60m hurdles (9.67) and freshman

Victoria Matthews improved her PSAC qualifying mark in the high jump to 5-3.

Marissa Flim was tied for fifth in the prelims in the 60m dash (7.96) and placed sixth in the final (7.97), a tenth of a second off her season best and PSAC qualifying time of 7.87.

Aspen Gaita hit a mark of 17-8 1/4 in the long jump, approaching her season best of 18-1 at Lehigh last month which tied a school record.
Senior
Brandie Tartza cleared 10-8 in the pole vault and has a PSAC mark of 10-10 last week at Kutztown.
Morgan and Castro's performances in the hurdles highlighted the men's side.
Freshman
Austin Horner had two PSAC qualifying efforts in the long jump (22-7 1/4) and triple jump (44-4), placing third in both events.
Senior
La Treil Ridgeway hit the PSAC standard in the high jump (6-4 3/4), placing third, and was second in the triple jump (44-4 1/4), just edging Horner. Ridgeway has a season best of 44-8 3/4.
Senior
Sean Hagerty, who had an ESU top-10 mark in the long jump (23-0 1/2) last week at Kutztown, was fourth behind Horner at 22-0 3/4.
Freshman
Darnell Randall improved his PSAC mark in the high jump to 6-2 3/4.
In the men's throws, freshman
Noah Lockwood improved his PSAC shot put mark (46-4 1/4) and Jon Hummel hit a mark of 50-0 3/4 in the weight throw, entering with a PSAC qualifier of 50-11 3/4.
The Warriors clocked three PSAC qualifiers in the 800m in sophomore
Khai Samuels (1:57.69), sophomore
Jared Glosser (1:58.44) and freshman
Mike Sheptuk (1:58.89), who finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Alec Lederer etched his name on the PSAC qualifiers list in the 5000m, placing fifth in a time of 15:36.05.
In the men's sprints, sophomore
Quincy Palmer became the fourth Warrior with a PSAC time in the 60m dash this season (7.20). Sophomore
Pat Monahan ran 7.05 to finish fifth in the finals, just off his season best of 7.01 at Lehigh which is tied for second-best in school history.
ESU has six men's sprinters qualified in the 200m with two new times on Saturday in Thomas (22.87) and senior
Robert Garvey (22.94).
Senior
Ronald D'Eliseo had ESU's top time in the event, running 22.76 for a Warriors season best.
In the relays, the men ran season bests in both the 4x4 and 4x8. The 4x400m squad of freshman
