EAST STROUDSBURG – Sophomore Olivia Lukshides registered two of East Stroudsburg University's five new PSAC qualifying times in a 190-67 dual defeat to LIU Post at Koehler Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

Lukshides booked her spot at the conference meet in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.51) and the 50 free (25.87). Her second-place showing in the 200 free was one of nine runner-up performances for the Warriors (2-1) on the day.

Five individuals posted a pair of event wins for the Pioneers (2-0), including 2016 NCAA DII qualifiers Karis Fuller and Laura Bendfeldt.

Senior Allison Cardow, junior Briana Hall and sophomore Tarah Killane recorded the additional conference qualifiers for ESU. Cardow touched the line in the 400 individual medley in a career-best time of 4:48.63 which ranks No. 5 all-time in school history. The mark was nearly four seconds quicker than her previous PR, and it placed her second in the event on Saturday.

Cardow (100/200 butterfly, 400 IM), Lukshides (50/100/200 free) and senior Kate Zimmerman (100/200 breaststroke/200 IM) have now each qualified for three PSAC events through the season's first three weekends.

Hall took second place in the 100 free with a PSAC qualifying mark of 54.99 that was only a half-second back of LIU Post's Caitlin Johnstone (54.48). Killane, meanwhile, posted her first PSAC time of the season during a second-place finish in the 1,650 free (18:50.19). She added another second-place result later on in the 500 free (5:30.08).

Senior Annie Fagan registered the other two individual runner-up efforts for the Warriors. She completed the 50 free in 25.17 and the 100 fly in 1:02.79. Fagan and Hall (1:02.80) were just off the PSAC qualifying time of 1:02.13 in the 100 fly.

The home side also placed second in both relays, as senior Colleen Dwyer, senior Shirley Samson, Hall and Fagan were runners-up in the 200 medley (1:55.26), while Hall, Dwyer, Lukshides and Fagan took second in the 200 free (1:42.58).

ESU will face fellow PSAC schools Kutztown and California in a pair of tri-meets next weekend. The first will take place at Kutztown at 5 p.m. on Friday, while the second is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse the following afternoon.
