SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Morgan DeFloria had a match-high 12 kills and nine digs, and Shippensburg hit .246 as a team to defeat East Stroudsburg University by a 3-0 final on Friday evening. Set scores were 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

Senior Desiree Claxton totaled nine kills and seven digs for the Warriors (10-6, 1-4 PSAC), while senior Rosa Veliky added 17 digs and sophomore Jasmine Williams had three blocks. ESU was limited to a .056 attack percentage for the night.

The Raiders (12-5, 5-0 PSAC) led for the entire match outside of a brief stretch early in the third set. They have now won six matches in a row overall.

The Warriors finished the match with advantages in both aces (8-7) and blocks (5-4). Veliky led the way at the service line, as she registered a career-high four aces for the visitors. Senior Erica Cunningham chipped in a pair of aces to go along with 18 assists.

ESU has now lost three straight matches following a stretch in which it won seven of eight contests. The Warriors will look to return to their winning ways on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Millersville for a PSAC matchup scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
