EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior guard
Madison Tamburini scored a career-high 18 points, junior guard
Imani Brown totaled 18 points and five rebounds, and East Stroudsburg University shot 55.4 percent from the field to roll to an 86-54 victory over Cheyney at Koehler Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.
Tamburini hit 7 of 8 shots from the floor, including all four of her 3-point attempts, while also chipping in three steals and three assists. The Warriors (13-7, 9-7 PSAC) won their fourth-consecutive game, all by at least 19 points, and they have now won 12 consecutive contests over the Wolves (3-14, 3-13 PSAC).

Rachel Falkowski also reached double figures for ESU with 10 points apiece. Falkowski hit all three of her field goal attempts and matched Brown for the team-lead with five rebounds.
The Warriors hit 10 of their first 12 shots to jump out to an early 27-14 advantage, with nine of those points coming from Brown. Cheyney scored the final four points of the first quarter to get back within single digits, but ESU outscored the visitors 24-6 in the second to take a commanding 51-24 lead into halftime.
The 51 first-half points were the most by ESU against a PSAC opponent in over 15 seasons. The Warriors shot 64.3 percent (18-28) in the opening 20 minutes.

Dominique Rayam gave ESU its largest lead of 42 points (72-30) with 1:38 left in the third quarter. Twelve different Warriors scored in the win.
Brown hit 6 of 9 shots from the floor and all five of her free throw attempts to reach double figures for a fourth straight game. She has averaged 15.8 points per game during that stretch while hitting 26 of 43 field goal attempts (60.5 percent).
ESU shot a season-best 50 percent from 3-point range, hitting 9 of 18 attempts from beyond the arc. Tamburini's four 3-pointers tied a career-high.
TaKayla Ellis had a team-high 12 points, while Quinniea Gross added 11 points and six rebounds for the Wolves.
The Warriors pulled into a tie with West Chester for second place in the PSAC East standings after the Golden Rams (9-11, 9-7 PSAC) fell 81-68 at Bloomsburg earlier in the evening.
ESU looks to match its season-best with a fifth-consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon against Millersville, with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse. The Marauders (9-12, 7-9 PSAC) edged Mansfield by a 56-49 final on Wednesday, and they topped the Warriors 56-53 when the two teams met at Millersville on Jan. 6.
Notes:
Tamburini's previous career-high in points was a 16-point effort against Cheyney on Dec. 19, 2015.
ESU's two largest margins of victory this season have both come against the Wolves. The Warriors bested Cheyney 86-52 in the first meeting on Dec. 30.
