KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Redshirt sophomore Dylan Nace earned his 50th career victory with an 11-1 major decision at 141 pounds, as East Stroudsburg University fell 24-16 at Kutztown in its final dual contest of the season on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (5-13, 2-4 PSAC) won 5 of 7 contested bouts, with the only two defeats coming in overtime, but three forfeits and two misconduct point violations made the difference for the Golden Bears (12-5, 4-3 PSAC) on their Senior Night.

Redshirt sophomore Blake Cohen (149) and senior Joey Kratochvil (157) followed Nace with victories of their own to increase the dual margin to 14-3. Cohen completed an 18-2 technical fall, his second in as many bouts, over Michael O'Brien midway through the second period. Kratochvil then earned a 13-7 decision over William Manley to move his season record to 10-8 (8-6 in duals).

ESU's first two forfeits, at 165 and 174, gave the home side its first lead at 15-14. Senior Tyler Richardson briefly restored the Warrior advantage with a 4-0 decision at 184, but a 7-6 overtime win at 197 and a forfeit at 285 completed the victory for the Golden Bears.

Richardson's victory was his third shutout of the season. He is 23-8 on the year (16-2 in duals) and is now 60-38 lifetime at ESU.
