East Stroudsburg University finishes the 2016-17 basketball regular season on Saturday at Mansfield.
ESU's women (17-8, 13-8) fell to PSAC East leader Shippensburg (23-5, 18-4), 65-59, on Wednesday to end an 8-game winning streak (ESU's best since 2006-07). The Warriors will be the No. 2 seed in the PSAC East in next week's PSAC Tournament and will host a quarterfinal game on Wednesday (March 1) at 7 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The men (17-9, 15-6) will be the PSAC East No. 3 seed and will host a first round game on Monday (Feb. 27) at 7 p.m. vs. the No. 6 seed (loser of Saturday's Lock Haven at Bloomsburg contest).
Both Mansfield teams have been knocked out of PSAC Tournament consideration.
