EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior
Samantha Miller finished fourth with a two-day total of 155 to lead East Stroudsburg University at its season-ending ESU Invitational on Sunday and Monday at Glen Brook Golf Club.
Miller shot a round of 76 on Sunday, tied for second after the opening round, and carded 79 on Monday. She shot in the 70's in eight of her 17 rounds this season, the most in school history.
West Chester won the team title at 628, including an impressive 307 on Monday. Kutztown was second (644), Millersville third (677) and ESU fourth (717).
West Chester's Taylor Daskivich was the medalist at 151 (76-75), a one-shot edge over Kutztown's Caity Leppert at 152 (75-77).
WCU's Lacey Bensing was third (154), Miller was fourth (155) and Kutztown's Madison Beer and WCU's Juliarose Genuardi tied for fifth (157). Beer's 74 on Monday was the low round of the weekend.
There were 23 finishers and the par-72 course played at 5,800 yards.

Amy Bergquist was 16th (181), junior
Mackenzie Mathna 17th (185), sophomore
Caterina Daniels 20th (196) and freshman
Brianna Carty 23rd (237) for ESU. Bergquist's 88 on Sunday was her low round of the season.
Miller finishes her junior year with eight rounds in the 70's, more than the first eight years of the program combined (seven). Briana Malachowski had two rounds in the 70's in ESU's inaugural season in 2008-09, and Karen Cash had five rounds in the 70's as a freshman in 2009-10. Malachowski completed 12 rounds and Cash 11 in their respective seasons.
