Marina Zardet won her sixth singles match of the season, while junior

Aubrianna Stetina added their fourth doubles victory as East Stroudsburg University dropped a 7-2 decision at Bloomsburg on Wednesday afternoon.
Zardet moved to 6-4 in dual contests this season with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Catherine Garrity at the No. 3 singles position. Presby and Stetina, meanwhile, bested Cassandra Wentz and Lizzy Schmitt by an 8-5 margin at No. 3 doubles. The ESU duo improved to 4-4 in duals in 2016-17.
The Huskies (3-6, 2-1 PSAC) won the other five singles tilts in straight sets to snap a two-match losing streak. The Warriors (2-7, 0-2 PSAC) dropped their third match in a row.
Zardet is 7-6 overall on the year, with six of her seven victories occurring in straight sets.
ESU returns to the courts for a 12 p.m. home contest against Shippensburg on Sunday afternoon. The match, originally scheduled for Friday, was delayed due to the potential for inclement weather. It will be played at Stroudsburg High School.
