EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior midfielder Molly Vicari scored the game-tying goal in the 75th minute, helping East Stroudsburg University to a 1-1 (2OT) tie vs. Goldey-Beacom in non-conference women's soccer on Wednesday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

ESU (1-1-1) had a 27-5 advantage in shots - including 11-2 in the second half and 7-0 in overtime - but was unable to get another goal past Goldey-Beacom (2-0-1) goalkeeper Marta Lopez, who made five saves.

GBC took a 1-0 lead in the 66th minute on a penalty kick by Amy Runciman, one of two shots for the Lightning in the final 65 minutes.

Vicari scored on a shot from 35 yards out on the right wing, assisted by sophomore midfielder Jules Sicker, who scored ESU's goal in a 1-0 win at Mercyhurst on Saturday. Vicari's goal was the fifth of her career.

Senior goalkeeper Jules Harris was called on to make just one save for ESU, which controlled almost all of the action and built a 12-2 margin in corner kicks.

ESU, the three-time defending PSAC champion, returns to PSAC action on Saturday at 1 p.m. vs. No. 16-ranked Seton Hill, which improved to 3-0 with a win on Wednesday. The Griffins knocked off then-No. 9 West Chester, 1-0, last weekend after ESU fell 1-0 at WCU on Thursday.
