KUTZTOWN - East Stroudsburg University split a pair of matches at the Kutztown Duals on Saturday, topping American International 46-10 and falling 35-6 to UNC Pembroke.

The Warriors received seven forfeits against AIC and freshman Dillon Warner won by major decision, 18-5, at 174 pounds.

Freshman Peter Nace had a first-period fall against UNC Pembroke, but the Braves won six of the other nine bouts by decision - four by two points or less.

Redshirt sophomore Mike Raccioppi, ranked No. 5 in Division II at 165 pounds, suffered his first DII loss this year, dropping a 9-7 decision vs. Rodney Shephard. Raccioppi moves to 15-3 on the season, 10-1 on the mat vs. DII competition, and entered the day with 11 wins in his last 12 matches overall. He took his first career dual loss, opening this year 10-0 following a 2-0 mark two years ago.

Freshman Marquan Payne (157) fell vs. UNC Pembroke via injury default, ending a six-match unbeaten run on the mat. He is 10-6 on the season, and 6-4 on the mat vs. DII opponents.

ESU also split its two duals on Friday, falling 19-18 on criteria vs. Millersville, and edging Minot State (N.D.), 22-18.

Raccioppi, Payne, Warner and redshirt sophomore Francesco Palagruto (141) were all 2-0 on Friday.
