EAST STROUDSBURG - West Liberty won the final two bouts to post a 20-19 win over East Stroudsburg University in an NCAA Division II Super Region 1 wrestling dual on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU won five straight bouts from 149 through 184 pounds, including three against regionally-ranked wrestlers.

Redshirt sophomore Mike Raccioppi, ranked No. 7 nationally and No. 1 in the region at 165 pounds, pinned WLU's Jacob Ramsey in 1:39 to tie the dual at 13-all through six bouts. Raccioppi improves to 10-2 on the season with six bonus point wins, including three by fall.

Redshirt junior Blake Cohen won an impressive 9-1 major decision over Tanner Sutton, ranked No. 8 in the region, at 149 pounds after building a 4-0 lead and riding time advantage through two periods.

Freshman Marquan Payne followed with a 9-6 decision over Josh Cornell at 157.

Freshman Dillon Warner, making his ESU debut, won a 6-1 decision vs. Chase Morgan, ranked No. 8 in the region, at 174 pounds. Warner used an escape, takedown and the riding time point for a dominant third period.

Senior Paul Rallis knocked off Chris Cook, listed No. 6 in the region, with a 5-2 decision at 184, earning takedowns in each of the first two periods while building his riding time margin.

West Liberty opened the day with three straight victories, beginning with a first-period fall by freshman Corey Secrist, ranked No. 2 in the region, at 125.

Steven Slack won an 8-6 decision over ESU redshirt sophomore Francesco Palagruto at 133. Josh Ridgeway topped ESU freshman Peter Nace, 11-2, at 141.

ESU built a 19-13 lead through eight bouts, but West Liberty narrowed the margin to 19-17 with a major decision by Logan Kemp, ranked No. 5 in the region, at 197.

At 285, WLU's Ronnie D'Amico used a second-period takedown for a 4-2 win over freshman Hunter Marhan.

ESU returns to action with a PSAC dual at Millersville on Monday.
