Danielle Cary scored the game-winning goal in the 47th minute, and East Stroudsburg University's defense did not allow a single shot on goal during a 1-0 victory at Molloy on Tuesday night.
The Warriors (9-3-1) recorded their seventh shutout in the past nine games at the expense of the Lions (3-7-1). Overall shots were 8-4 for ESU, and Molloy did not register any shots over the final 60 minutes of regulation.
Cary's strike came just 1:15 after the intermission, as she sent a cross from junior
Jules Sicker past Lion goalkeeper Jackie Carty. The goal was her second of the season, and her first since she scored one of six Warrior goals in a 6-1 win over Mercyhurst on Sept. 1. Sicker tallied her second assist of 2018.
