CALIFORNIA, PA – The East Stroudsburg University women's swimming team recorded three PSAC qualifying marks as the Warriors dropped a pair of decisions in a tri-meet on Saturday.
California University of Pennsylvania recorded a pair of victories in its own pool, defeating Kutztown University 224-166 and ESU 220-167.
The Warriors (0-5) also fell short in the tri-meet against Kutztown 216-182. ESU recorded second-place finishes in the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay.

Alexandra Ferrante became a first-time qualifier for the Warriors this season after recording a time of 19:32.46 in the 1650-yard freestyle. Junior
Tarah Killane would be victorious in the event for ESU, notching a PSAC-qualifying time of 18:48.07.
Freshman
Sarah Luigard finished the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:00.09, which just beat the PSAC qualifying mark of 5:00.12. Luigard finished second in the event to Cal U's Karley Owens, who tallied a time of 4:44.63.
Hall, who had already qualified this season in the 100-yard butterfly, delivered a first-place swim for ESU with a time of 1:01.29. Lukshides also recorded a pair of victories for the Warriors in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle races. Both of Lukshides times in the 50 (25.72) and 100 (55.17) came in under the PSAC-qualifying time.
ESU is back in action on Nov. 17 as the Warriors host Lock Haven University at the ESU Swimming Pool beginning at 1 p.m.
