EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior Olivia Lukshides took first place in a pair of events, and four Warriors combined for six new PSAC-qualifying times as East Stroudsburg University wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule at the three-day TCNJ Invitational this weekend.

ESU had a total of 13 top-five finishes across 18 contested events. Lukshides touched the wall first in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100 free.

The meet included both preliminary and finals sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Three Warriors reached individual finals on Day 1, with junior Tarah Killane providing the first new conference qualifier after she took fourth in the 500 free final with a time of 5:18.84.

Lukshides and senior Briana Hall were second and third, respectively, in the 50 free prelims. Lukshides moved up to first with a finals time of 24.67 which is a new personal best and ranks No. 6 in program history. Hall followed in fourth at 24.90, finishing just shy of her season-best mark of 24.86 from the morning session.

ESU cracked the top five in both Friday relays as well. Freshman Emma Billings, Lukshides, sophomore Taylor Howery and Hall were fourth in the 200 free relay (1:40.59), while Howery, sophomore Julia Harnish, Hall and Lukshides were fifth in the 400 medley relay (4:06.66).

Howery began the medley race with a personal best time of 1:01.60. That mark qualifies her for PSAC's, and it ranks her seventh all-time at ESU in the event.

New PSAC qualifiers on Saturday included Killane in the 200 free (fifth, 2:01.55) and Harnish in the 100 breaststroke (fourth, 1:10.56). Lukshides placed one spot ahead of Killane in the 200 free with a season-best time of 1:58.33.

Hall also recorded a season-best on Day 2, completing the 100 butterfly preliminary in 59.73. She would ultimately take fifth in the night session after touching the wall in 1:00.32.

The 200 medley relay team of Howery, Harnigh, Hall and Lukshides began Saturday night with a fifth-place time of 1:52.83.

Lukshides highlighted Sunday's performances in the 100 free. She entered the evening session as the top qualifier at a season-best 53.66, and she matched that time while winning her 'A' final race. Hall, meanwhile, was fifth in the final after posting a new PSAC-qualifying time of 54.52 in the prelims.

Harnish added a second new PSAC time of the weekend in the 200 breast (2:34.90), while Killane took 25 seconds off her season best while placing fourth in the 1,650 free (18:23.29).

Billings, Hall, Howery and Lukshides concluded the meet with a fifth-place time of 3:41.33 in the 400 free relay.

Freshman Sarah Luigard and Billings recorded additional noteworthy performances over the weekend. Luigard took sixth in the 400 individual medley with a new season-best mark of 4:57.91. Billings was just off the PSAC-qualifying mark with season-best times in the 100 free (56.96) and 200 free (2:02.72).

The Warriors are back in the pool for their annual winter training trip in Florida next month. Their next dual is scheduled for Saturday, January 12, when they host Millersville at 1 p.m. inside Koehler Fieldhouse.
