STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Four East Stroudsburg University runners moved up in the program record books, led by a No. 2 all-time mark by senior
Kaylyn West in the 800m, as the Warriors took part in the Fast Track National Invitational on Friday.

Samantha Young also posted top 10 program times at the meet, as ESU's men's and women's teams combined for eight new season bests and four new PSAC-qualifying times.
West completed her race in a banked track time of 2:16.69, finishing under her previous PR of 2:18.26 and coming up just short of the ESU record mark of 2:14.28 established by Jan Blake in 1996.
Two Warrior women registered season bests in the 60m dash. Flim took 15th place in a field of 67 runners with a PR time of 7.77 which ranks No. 3 all-time, while sophomore
Tiana Webster crossed the line in 7.89.
Two more season bests were posted in the women's 400m. Klag placed ninth out of 66 competitors with a time of 58.44. That mark is under her previous top mark of 1:00.59, and it is No. 6 in program history. Junior
Leiana Dean followed with a new PSAC time of 1:00.42.
Young's top 10 program mark came in the mile; she is now ninth all-time after taking over five seconds off her previous season best with a mark of 5:12.45.
Another new PSAC time on the women's side was recorded by junior
Shante Dorin (2:23.94) in the 800m.
Sophomore
Mike Sheptuk led the ESU men with a new PSAC qualification in the mile. He completed his race in 4:22.21, finishing well below the banked track PSAC standard of 4:28.00.
That was one of four new season bests for the men which met the PSAC standard, as Sheptuk was joined by sophomore
Andrew Schumacher (50.64) in the 400m, junior
Khai Samuels (1:56.70) in the 800m and sophomore
Austin Horner (8.69) in the 60m hurdles.
Schumacher, freshman
Omari Slocombe, Samuels and Horner concluded the meet with a season-best time of 3:21.52 in the 4x400m relay which ranks No. 9 in program history.
Strong performances in the field included sophomore
Darnell Randall in the high jump (third, 6-4 1/4) and junior
Aspen Gaita in the long jump (fourth, 18-1).
ESU concludes the regular season portion of its schedule at Kutztown's Last Chance Qualifier next Friday. The PSAC Indoor Championships are set to take place at Edinboro on Feb. 24-25.
