Kaitlyn Caleen on a single after Caleen had walked and swiped second base. The stolen base was Caleen's second of the season; she is hitting .378 with a .425 on-base percentage in her first 13 collegiate appearances.
Chowan (11-8) moved in front on solo runs in the third and fourth innings, and Stigler gave the Hawks some breathing room with her three-run shot in the fifth. ESU's final tally came on a Vicendese sacrifice fly in the sixth.

MacKenzie Lewis went 2 for 3 with a run scored at the plate to lift her season average to .303. Senior
Mary Wallick added a hit and a stolen base on the afternoon; she has hit .571 (8-14) with three doubles, three RBIs and three steals through ESU's first five games in Salem.
