SALEM, Va. – West Liberty scored five runs in the first inning, and added five insurance runs across the final two frames to hand East Stroudsburg University a 10-6 setback in Salem, Va., on Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors (6-10) conclude their three day tournament with a 2-4 record. ESU was set to return to action Tuesday afternoon at Chestnut Hill, but those games have been postponed due to poor field conditions. The teams will instead play a doubleheader at ESU on Wednesday, April 18, with Game 1 beginning at 2 p.m.
Three runs in both the third and seventh innings accounted for ESU's six runs. Senior

Ashley Spencer scored ESU's three runs in the bottom of the seventh. All nine Warriors in the starting lineup had at least one hit.
ESU is next scheduled to play on Tuesday, March 20, when the Warriors travel to Jefferson for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
