ESU's last PSAC loss was more than a year ago - March 26, 2017, a 12-10 setback at Slippery Rock - before winning 12 straight last year to claim the first PSAC championship in school history, and the first three this spring.

After three straight goals for WCU, Cicerelle and freshman midfielder
Krista Mitarotonda scored to tie it at 4-4 at the 14:59 mark of the first half.
The Golden Rams held ESU scoreless for almost 27 minutes from that point, taking a 5-4 lead into halftime and scoring the first four goals of the second half.
The Warriors used a 3-1 stretch - the second goal of the game for Mitarotonda, and the third and fourth for Cicerelle - to cut the margin to 10-7 with 10:14 left, but West Chester scored four straight to end the game.
Eight players scored goals for West Chester, which had advantages of 34-24 in shots and 13-10 in draw controls. WCU also led 23-18 in turnovers, 28-27 in ground balls and 10-6 in caused turnovers.

Tatyana Petteway started and had 10 saves for ESU while allowing 13 goals. Sophomore
Michelle Dyck had two saves and allowed one goal in relief.

ESU's 17-12 win vs. West Chester last year was just its third in school history, with WCU holding a 68-3 all-time advantage. Other ESU wins came in 2000 and 2003.
The Warriors travel to Slippery Rock for conference action on Saturday at 2 p.m.
