MacKenzie Lewis led the offense with four RBIs to help East Stroudsburg University sweep Virginia State in a Sunday doubleheader.
The Warriors (4-6) won the first game 9-1 in six innings and the second by a 2-0 final to earn a 3-1 series win after the teams split their two contests on Saturday. The Trojans (1-7) were held to a total of 10 hits on the afternoon.
Dark picked up her fourth complete game in five starts while improving her season record to 3-3. She allowed just four hits and an unearned run across her six innings of work in the opener. ESU's offense, meanwhile, quickly put the game out of reach with five runs in the first two innings.
Lewis registered a two-run single to highlight a four-run second inning for the visitors, and she added a third RBI on a groundout in the sixth. Lewis also had one of ESU's nine steals in Game 1. Freshman

Cecchin reached base in all three trips to the plate, and she came around to score each time from her No. 9 spot in the lineup. Five Warriors registered RBIs, as Lewis had three, and Caleen, sophomore

Madison Oren and Cecchin each had one.
Hazewski went 2 for 3 with a third stolen base of the day to pace the offense in Game 2. She singled and stole second to lead off the contest, and was brought home on an RBI single by Lewis.
Lewis scored the second run for ESU in the top half of the fourth. She drew a leadoff walk, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly by Wallick.
That was more than enough offense for Keeney, who allowed six hits and struck out four over seven innings to earn her first collegiate victory. She stranded the bases loaded in both the second and seventh innings, and struck out the side in the third after the first two batters reached base.
Cecchin added a fourth stolen base on the afternoon in the top half of the fifth after reaching on a two-out walk.
The Warriors return to action next weekend for a tournament in Salem, Va., from Friday through Sunday. They will play five games over those three days, beginning with matchups against Shepherd (1 p.m.) and Winston-Salem State (5 p.m.) on Friday.
