STROUDSBURG – Senior 
Samantha Miller placed seventh to lead East Stroudsburg University at its spring ESU Invitational, contested Saturday and Sunday at Glen Brook Golf Club.
Kutztown won the team title by four shots over West Chester (630-634), edging WCU by two shots each day.
Lacey Bensing (West Chester), Danielle Greene (Millersville) and Jillian Jones (Kutztown) shared medalist honors at 154, with Bensing shooting the weekend's low round at 73 (+1) on Sunday, in a field of 31 golfers.
Millersville was third in the team standings (650), followed by ESU (692) and LIU Post (700).
Miller posted a 79 on Saturday, her 11th career round in the 70's and third as a senior, and was tied for third through 18 holes.
Senior 
Mackenzie Mathna was 18th at 173, freshman 
Micaela Crines was 22nd (179), sophomore 
Amy Bergquist 23rd (181) and junior 
Caterina Daniels 27th (192).
Juliarose Geunardi (West Chester) was the first day leader at 77. Greene was second at 78, with Miller, Jones and Meghan O'Mara (West Chester) tied for third at 79.
Sunday produced five rounds of 76 or better from Bensing (73), Jones (75), Greene (76), O'Mara (76) and Kutztown's Shannon Weber (76).
The par-72 course played at 5,800 yards.
ESU finishes its 2017-18 calendar on Tuesday at the Alvernia Spring Invitational at LedgeRock Golf Club.
