MOHNTON - Senior 
Samantha Miller finished tied for fifth with a round of 79 in East Stroudsburg University's women's golf 2017-18 season finale on Tuesday at LedgeRock Golf Club.
Miller carded her 12th career round in the 70's and fourth of the year, recording a stroke average of 81.6 in 18 rounds as a senior. She averaged 80.2 in 17 rounds and was first team All-PSAC in 2016-17.
ESU finished tied for fourth in a field of five schools. West Chester took team honors at 318, followed by Kutztown (323), Millersville (336), ESU and Alvernia (358). Jefferson had two individual entrants.
Jillian Jones (Kutztown) was medalist on a match of cards and was one of four golfers - along with Shannon Weber (Kutztown), Meghan O'Mara (West Chester) and Kinley Lingenfelter (Jefferson) - to shoot 78 in a field of 31 golfers on the par-72, 5,753-yard course.
Miller, Lacey Bensing (West Chester) and Cait Leppert (Kuztown) were one shot back at 79.
Freshman 
Micaela Crines shot 85 (t-14th), lowering her season average to 88.8.
Junior 
Caterina Daniels and sophomore 
Amy Bergquist were tied for 26th at 97, and senior 
Mackenzie Mathna was 28th at 100.
Miller and Mathna both played 70 career rounds for the Warriors, with Miller averaging 85.5 and Mathna 98.3.
