FLEETWOOD – Freshman
Micaela Crines finished fourth with a round of 84 to lead East Stroudsburg University at the Kutztown Spring Invitational on Sunday at Moselem Springs Golf Club.
ESU placed fourth in a field of five schools with West Chester (340) edging host Kutztown (343) by three shots for the team title. Alvernia was third at 367, followed by ESU at 369 and Seton Hill at 434.
Crines was fourth in a field of 30 individuals. Lacey Bensing (West Chester) was medalist with a round of 82, and Juliarose Genuardi (West Chester) and Shannon Weber (Kutztown) were one off the pace at 83 on the par-70 course.
Senior
Samantha Miller placed t-9th at 88, junior
Caterina Daniels was t-19th at 98, senior
Mackenzie Mathna was t-21st at 99 and sophomore
Amy Bergquist was 23rd at 100.
ESU continues its spring season on Monday and Tuesday at the Edwin Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
