EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University freshman attack Krista Mitarotonda and sophomore goalkeeper Tatyana Petteway were named to the All-Tournament Team for the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Final 4, held in May at the University of Tampa.

Mitarotonda scored six goals and Petteway made 15 saves for the Warriors (15-4), who fell 20-14 to Florida Southern on May 18 in their first national semifinal appearance in program history.

Mitarotonda (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) was named to the IWLCA All-America first team last week after scoring 67 goals and adding nine assists for 76 points. Her 67 goals are second-most by a freshman in PSAC history, and second-most by any player in ESU history. She was also first team All-Atlantic Region, first team All-PSAC and the PSAC Freshman of the Year.

Her six goals vs. Florida Southern marked her fourth six-goal game of the season. She scored multiple goals in each of ESU's final 17 games of the season and also led the Warriors with 80 draw controls.

She was the only freshman on this year's DII All-America team, is ESU's first freshman to earn first team All-America honors, and ESU's first first-team All-America in 18 years, since Kristin Restivo in 2000.

Petteway (Nanuet, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) was named All-Region second team after being named third team All-PSAC this spring. She was third team All-America, first team All-Region and first team All-PSAC and PSAC Freshman of the Year in 2017.

She was third in the PSAC and eighth in DII in save percentage (.516) after ranking fourth in DII as a freshman (.532). Along with her 15 saves vs. Florida Southern, she had 16 saves in ESU's 16-14 win at unbeaten West Chester in the regional final to advance to the Final 4.

She has a 29-6 career record in her first two seasons for the Warriors.
