ESU would lead from start to finish in the match as the Huskies would knot the score just twice in the first set against the Warriors. Freshman Jessica Irwin delivered a service ace for the Warriors in the first set that capped a 6-0 rally and gave her team a 12-4 advantage.

Bloomsburg answered with a 4-0 run of its own to trim the deficit to 12-8 before a 3-0 rally from the Warriors pushed the lead back to 15-8. Leading 20-17 in the set, the Warriors would get the serve back following an error by the Huskies and increase the advantage to 24-17. The set would end on a service error by the Huskies as ESU recorded the 25-19 victory to take a 1-0 lead in the match.

The Warriors tallied seven of the first eight points in the second set as a block by Davis and redshirt junior Trea-sure Ketter increased the ESU lead to 7-1. The lead would stretch to 10-2 following a kill from Davis off an assist from sophomore Emily Meredith and later 13-3 after an ace from Dunphy.

A block from Ketter and Cain followed by a kill from Smith gave the Warriors a 19-6 lead in the set and capped a 4-0 rally. Davis secured the 25-14 victory in the set for the Warriors with a kill as ESU would take a 2-0 lead in the match.

A 6-0 run to start the third set by ESU gave the Warriors full momentum in the set as Smith and Ketter recorded back-to-back blocks to cap the rally. Leading 8-3, the Warriors used a 5-0 rally to increase the advantage to 13-3 as Davis and Smith notched consecutive kills in the run for ESU.
