KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team would be unable to tally a third win this season against a ranked opponent as the Warriors dropped a 47-0 decision against No. 8 Kutztown on Friday night in a PSAC dual matchup.
ESU (5-6, 2-5 PSAC) tried its best to slow the Golden Bears, who celebrated their senior night prior to the start of the dual. Kutztown (13-1, 5-1 PSAC) won its 13th consecutive dual and improved to 6-1 at home this season.
Kutztown featured four ranked wrestlers in the dual, with Jeff Reimel (No. 1 – 184 pounds) notching a 17-1 technical fall victory over ESU sophomore
Dillon Warner in a time of 5:33.
Redshirt junior
Mike Raccioppi (No. 9 – 174 pounds) would face T.C. Warner (No. 6 – 174 pounds) in a battle of two seasoned wrestlers. Warner tallied a 7-2 decision over Raccioppi, who suffered his first dual loss of the season for the Warriors.

Richard Viruet dropped a close 6-5 decision against Kutztown's Connor Rogovich after the two found themselves dead-locked 5-5. Sophomore
Nick Klinoff looked to record a win for the Warriors at 197 pounds. Klinoff saw the Golden Bears' James Meyer triumph with a 4-2 decision.
ESU travels to Springfield Technical Community College on Saturday for a pair of duals against the Rams and RPI. The Warriors will head to Erie, Pa. for the NCAA Div. II Super Region 1 Championships on Feb. 23 at Mercyhurst.
