STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The East Stroudsburg University Women's Track and Field program added seven new PSAC qualifying marks on Friday night at the Fastrack National Invite in Staten Island, N.Y.
The Warriors placed sixth out of 12 teams in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:03.97. Junior
Sarah Klag, senior
Decontee Krayee, junior
Allyson Stitzer, and senior
Victoria Matthews recorded the fastest mark in the event this season for ESU.
Junior
Jenna Vledder added a new PSAC mark in the 3000-meter run with a personal-best time of 10:43.62. She finished in 15th-place, while junior
Rachael Davalos finished 17th with a time of 10:48.81.
Sophomore
Brittany Carratura ran to a 19th-place finish for the Warriors in the 800-meter run. The time was a personal-best in the event for Carratura and also a PSAC mark. In the mile run, junior
Emily Eder clocked a personal-best time of 5:27.34.
The Warriors saw a pair of runners hit PSAC qualifying times in the 200-meter dash as freshman
Taylor Allen notched a time of 26.02, while junior
Tiana Webster ran a 26.33. Allen placed 10th and clocked a personal-best and fastest-time in the event for the Warriors this season.
In the 400-meter dash, Klag delivered a PSAC qualifying run for ESU with a time of 59.23. Senior
Marissa Flim also recorded a seventh-place finish for the Warriors in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.79.
Junior
Tatiana Williams set a new personal-best in the high jump with a mark of 5-3. The height was a PSAC qualifier and good enough for an 11th-place finish for ESU. Matthews also hit 5-3 in the high jump and placed eighth for the Warriors.
The Warriors are back in action on Feb. 15 for the Kutztown Last Chance Qualifier, which comes ahead of the PSAC Championships.
